Vladimir Malakhov (born November 27, 1980) is a chess International Grandmaster from Russia. In the FIDE World Chess Championship 2004, Malakhov made it to the second round. Malakhov finished in the top 10 in the 2005 FIDE World Cup, which qualified him for the Candidates for the FIDE World Chess Championship 2007, being played in May-June 2007.
