History

Bernhard Schneider purchased the land that Henderson Village is currently sitting on in 1979. [http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qa3676/is_200003/ai_n8879561 Southern Living: A magic village] ] Following the purchase of a home on the property in 1994, he acquired homes on the property. He opened them as a bed and breakfast in 1998, when there was six tenant cottages and four homes. Today there are 24 rooms total.
