Club career
Hieblinger started his professional career with VfB Admira Wacker Mödling in 1997 but only made his top division breakthrough with FC Kärnten six years later. After half a season at Grazer AK in 2006, he moved to the Greek League.
International career
He made his debut for Austria in a March 2003 friendly match against Greece and has earned 12 caps, no goals scored. His last international was a September 2005 World Cup qualification match against Azerbaijan.
