Ghulam Jelani Popal

Ghulam Jelani Popal is currently the General Director of The Independent Directorate of Local Governance in Afghanistan. He has had many successful attempts in development projects. Over the past twenty years he has founded one of the best non-profit organizations called the Afghan Development Association and was also one of the 7 founding directors of Afghan Health And Development Services (AHDS). After the collapse of the Taliban, Mr. Popal served as a Deputy Minister of Finance under Ashraf Ghani.
