A1 Team India is the Indian team of A1 Grand Prix, an international racing series.

Management

"A1 Team India" Seatholder for Seaon 4 is Andy Sehgal.

Arena Motorsport worked with A1 Team India during Season 3. The UK based team was founded by Mike Earle and is best know for competing in Formula 1 as the Onyx Formula 1 Team and in the British Touring Car Championship running the works Honda programme. Mike Earle’s experience lies not only in sports and touring cars, Earle is considered one of the most widely experienced team managers in recent decades. His teams have run in virtually every area of motorsport, including Formula 2, Formula 3000, Formula 3 and even Formula 1.

Yohann Setna has been involved with A1 Team India since the first season and stands as Sporting Director this year. Daljit Singh is Chief Marketing Officer and Neha Rastogi is the PR & Communications Director.

A1 Team India will be lead by Narain Karthikeyan, two-time race winner for the team. Armaan Ebrahim and Parthiv Sureshwaren haveeen announced as the teams rookie drivers.


= 2007-08 season =

"Drivers: Narain Karthikeyan, Parthiva Sureshwaren"

The 2007-08 season was a much greater success than the previous two seasons. Former Formula One driver Narain Karthikeyan, scored 61 points for the team, as well as two victories. The team finished 10th in the championship.


= 2006-07 season =

Team India scored points on three occasions, scoring 13 points and finishing 16th in the championship.

2005-06 season

"Drivers: Karun Chandhok, Armaan Ebrahim"

The A1 Team India car was presented to the public in July 2005. The team did not take part in the full season, with their last race of the season in Indonesia. They failed to score any points.
