"Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation" is the debut album of the Welsh post-hardcore band Funeral for a Friend. The album was released on October 20, 2003 through Ferret Music. Produced by Colin Richardson and co-produced by the band. "Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation" shows a new direction for the band from "Four Ways to Scream Your Name" (2002), and displays a more mature and developed sound. The album also features brand-new versions of the songs "Juneau," "Escape Artists Never Die," "Red is the New Black" and "Summer's Dead and Buried" (now called "Waking Up"). The album made #12 on the UK charts and went Gold.

The cover of the album as well as its subsequent singles is based on the two paintings "The Lovers" [http://www.mcs.csuhayward.edu/%7Emalek/magrit11.jpg1] [http://www.paintingstogo.com/magritte/the_lovers_2.jpg2] by the Belgian surrealist artist René Magritte.
