One Wisconsin Now (OWN) is an issue advocacy organization based in Wisconsin. They support progressive causes and conduct research related to those causes.[1][2] Created in 2006, One Wisconsin Now rose to prominence during the Wisconsin Supreme Court Election of Annette Ziegler in 2006.[3] Their actions have spurred numerous investigations of candidates for office, including Supreme Court Justice Annette Ziegler and justice-elect Michael Gableman.[4] The Isthmus, a Madison newspaper, called One Wisconsin Now "[one of] the most prominent players" in the 2006 Wisconsin Supreme Court elections.[5] In June 2008, the group called for an investigation into justice-elect Gablemann regarding fundraising calls made by him during the campaign.[6]
