Franciszek Cebulak

Franciszek Ludwik Cebulak (September 16, 1906 – August 4, 1960) was a Polish soccer midfielder, who represented the national team of Poland in the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games.

Cebulak was born in Kraków, and started his career in Wisła Kraków, but his occupation (he was a professional soldier of the Polish Army) made him to change clubs on several occasions. He played for military clubs from Wilno and Grodno, to finally end up in Legia Warszawa, where he played from 1927 till 1936. Then Cebulak moved to Warszawianka Warszawa, where ended his career in late 1938.

Franciszek Cebulak also played for the National Team of Poland, earning the first cap on August 23, 1931 vs. Romania. Altogether, he capped five times for Poland, participating in the 1936 Olympic Games. He died in Warsaw.
