"Time to Play" is a promo single by Blue Man Group. This song was featured on a KCAL-TV Dodgers television ad. It was featured at the end of the "Inside the Tube" feature as the paper finale song. Its length is 5:32.

History

Speculations of this song have been asked at Blue Man Library and blueman.com of release of the song. The song was featured on a Japan ad for a rock tour. It has the computer voices of kids singing and chanting "Joy, Joy J-J-J-Joy". Then house music by moderate dance tunes with Todd Perlmutter yelling, "Please Yell!". And the famous line, "PLAY BALL".

Album Release

"Time to Play" was on a practice bluman CD for Boston. The album was known as "Boston Roll". It featured clips shown on the big screen and out of date recorded songs like "Drum Finale Throwdown" and "PVC III". The song was at #7 on the Blue Man song list. This is a 12" release.
