Simbad = HD+181433HD 181433 is a
star located approximately 87light-year s awayCalculated from parallax: ] in theconstellation of Pavo (thePeacock ). According toSIMBAD , it has astellar classification of K3III-IV, which puts it on the borderline between being agiant star and asubgiant . However this is inconsistent with its luminosity properties: itsabsolute magnitude is 6.24 which means it is less luminous than our Sun. Its entry in theHipparcos catalogue lists a spectral type of K5V, classifying it as adwarf star .As of 2008 , twoextrasolar planet s are thought to be orbiting within the system.cite press release|url=http://www.eso.org/public/outreach/press-rel/pr-2008/pr-19-08.html|title=A Trio of Super-Earths|publisher=ESO|date=2008-06-16|accessdate=2008-10-02] There is currently little information on these planets. The name of this star comes from its identifier in theHenry Draper catalogue .Planetary system
Orbiting the star are two planets that were discovered in
June 2008 . The inner planet is a so-calledsuper-Earth . [cite web
