Magenta are a rock band from Italy.

The band consists of Sergo (vocals), Matteo Cossar (guitars), Nat Flamigni (bass) and Ste Savi (drums).

History

Magenta project formed in 2005 in Gorizia with the aim of promoting original music in the friulian music context. In 2005 and 2006, Magenta became quite popular in Friuli Venezia Giulia, thanks to an extensive presence into local media.

In 2007, Magenta are discovered by Elisa's manager and introduced to the national artistic circuit: in the summer they tour Italy, performing live acts in Turin, Triest, Udine, Milan, Rome, Modena, including a remarkable number of trans-border concerts in Gorizia and Slovenia.

2008 brings first Magenta single to the italian market: "Una Cosa Sola", followed by a video featuring model Kartika Luyet, broadcasted by All Music Television.
