KLPW-FM

KLPW-FM is a radio station licensed to Elsberry, MO, serving the St. Louis Metro West area with a Hot Country Music format known on the air as "Action Country 101.7." The station is locally programmed with digital automation technology, and features little talk and very few commercials.

The station signed on the air from Elsberry in April 2008, after over four decades operating from Union, MO in order to put a better signal over the growing St. Charles County area of suburban St. Louis.

Action Country is operated by 21 Sound Communications, who also operates sister "Action Country" station 104.3 FM KKAC in Vandalia, MO, serving Northeast and East Central Missouri, and Alternative Rock station 93.3 KQQX, which is known on the air as "93X," which serves the St. Louis Metropolitan area.
