Moncton ,New Brunswick . At 9km2 it is one of the largest urban parks inCanada . The park has a large (1.20 km2) lake which is popular forkayaking andcanoeing . The park is also used forhiking ,mountain biking andcross-country skiing in the winter. There are several historic displays within the park including a small museum consisting of a fully restoredone-room school . There is also a set of signs relating to the parks history as the city of Monctons first water supply dating back to the mid 19th centuryBirdwatching is popular in the park due to the wide variety of birds which reside in the park including:*
