About CGJSS

Clifton Grammar Junior & Senior School was established in 1982 by an acclaimed educationist Mrs. Rehana Saeed (Late), in the vicinity of Defense Housing Authority Karachi with the definite endeavor of effectual & resourceful education intended for youth of the nation; because of her strong aspirations, The Clifton Grammar Junior & Senior School has always been a part of prestige and it has always enjoyed the reputation of being among the few prestigious schools of Karachi. Since the commencement of Clifton Grammar Junior & Senior School, the school management has worked determinedly to craft an institution where young children are prepared to cultivate academic excellence and widen their horizons to be capable of making decisions that are required by systematic realm of 21st Century. Now, the school has marked its 25 years of academic excellence and still determined to produce ingenuity in education on the principles laid by its founder.

CGJSS Montessori

Clifton Grammar Junior & Senior School’s Montessori is a well-known Montessori in the vicinity and it is known as “Sunrise Montessori”. The Montessori is run on the pure methods as taught by Dr. Maria Montessori. One distinguishing feature of Sunrise Montessori at the preschool age is that children direct their own learning, choosing among the sections of a well-structured and stocked classroom including Practical Life (fine and gross motor skill development), Sensorial (sensory and brain development), Language, Math, Geography, Science and Art. The goal of Sunrise Montessori is to cultivate proficient, responsible, adaptive children who are constant learners and problem solvers. The montessori offers learning in an inquiring, cooperative, nurturing atmosphere.
