Jeff Genovy (born December 4, 1982 in Kalamazoo, Michigan) is a American professional ice hockey player. Jr Hockey

He played Jr. A hockey beginning in 1999 for the Detroit Compuware Ambassadors and then the following year for the Soo Indians before moving up to the USHL for the 2001-2002 season. Genovy helped lead the Des Moines Buccaneers to 3rd spot in the USHL East and a playoff spot but the team didn't go far into the post season. College Hockey

Genovy committed to NCAA Division I Clarkson University for the 2002-2003 season and played all four years with the Golden Knights where he had 22 goals, 34 assists and 196 penalty minutes in 131 games.

Pro Career

After his collegiate years, Genovy signed with the Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League. Over one and a half seasons with the Bucks (53 games) he compiled 10 goals, 17 assists and 36 penalty minutes.
