Haras La Madrugada

Haras La Madruga is farm located in Argentina, South America. The history of Haras La Madrugada starts in 1978 and since that moment the farm has built a background closely related to success and quality at the time of breeding thoroughbreds.Haras La Madrugada is located in an excellent area bearing all the conditions for the development of high competence equines. The establishment has an ample field of more than 900 hectares including ample prairies situated in a privileged geographical area. On these lands, a model breeding center was built with first class soils and with an unbeatable climate for the development of thoroughbreds.

Along its history, La Madrugada has contributed notably with the breeding industry and the turf and has projected great stars of the Argentine elevage. Among them, we can distinguish two winners of Carlos Pellegrini Stakes (G1): the unmatchable Potrillón and the excellent mare Potri Pe, one of the few mares that was able to prevail in one of the most important South American classics. As well, we can distinguish outstanding champions as Potrillazo and Potrizaris, both winners of the National Stakes (Derby of Palermo), and a great number of specimens through which Haras La Madrugada obtained sixteen “Carlos Pellegrini” distinctions, with great champions as Potridee, Warllon, Potridorita, Potridoon and Lovellon, among others.

Currently, the Haras La Madrugada is located among the top ten breeders of Argentina according to data from Stud Book Argentino, the entity that regulates activity of thoroughbreds in Argentina.
