David Baron born February 15,1973, is a French mixed martial artist and Shooto Middleweight European Champion, currently signed with the UFC. He is also a Pride FC veteran where he fought then lightweight champion Takanori Gomi. Baron is considered by manywho to be the best MMA fighter in France with notable wins over Abdul Mohamed, Dan Hardy and most recently Hayato Sakurai. Baron has also fought Per Eklund.
