Brookings Regional Airport Airport codes|BKX|KBKX, formerly known as Brookings Municipal Airport, is a public airport located in Brookings, a city in Brookings County, South Dakota, USA. The airport covers convert|300|acre|ha|0|lk=on and has two runways. As of 2007, it is no longer served by a commercial airline.

Airline and destinations

Until September 30, 2006, EAS subsidized service was provided by Air Midwest (operating as Mesa Airlines) with flights to Omaha, Nebraska and Huron, South Dakota. From October 1, 2006, until 2007, EAS subsidized service was provided by:
* Great Lakes Airlines (Denver, Pierre)

Since 2007, no commercial airline serves Brookings. The nearest commercial airports are Watertown, Huron, and Sioux Falls.
