The Seattle Majestics are a professional
women's American football team based inSeattle, Washington . The Majestics play in the Western Conference, Pacific Northwest Division of theIndependent Women's Football League . Home games are played at Memorial Stadium inSeattle Center .The team began as the Tacoma Majestics in 2002 before moving to Seattle in 2006 and merging with an existing team, the Warbirds.
The franchise is currently owned by
Camille Head ,Heather Gallemore , andMichel Rene Volk , all active players for the team. Players contribute money to cover the cost of running the team and must pay their own expenses.The Majestics have won the IWFL's Northwest Division title five times, in 2003-2005 and again in 2007 & 2008. The team has also had the distinction of entertaining the crowd at Qwest Field prior to the kickoff of the
