Winchester Villages

Winchester Villages is a gated community in the city of Yonkers in Westchester County, New York. It was built by the Ginsburg Development Company and completed in 1997. The complex includes a playground, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a clubhouse with a small gym and party facilities. The development claims to be close to shopping,transportation and entertainment but is decidedly not pedestrian or bicycle friendly as there is only one exit leading on to a busy street with no sidewalk that parallels the East Grassy Sprain Highway. The closest bus stop is nearly two miles away.
