1914 Sydney Carnival

The 1914 Sydney Carnival was the third Australian rules football interstate carnival and first to take place in New South Wales.

The carnival saw many one sided affairs, particularly involving Queensland who lost games by 189, 182 and 163 points. Western Australia put on the highest score of the carnival, 223 against Queensland with William 'Digger' Thomas kicking 14 goals.

Six teams competed in the Sydney Carnival, the Victorian Football League (VFL), South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, Queensland and the hosts New South Wales.
