Mikkel Hansen (born October 22, 1987) is a Danish handballer, currently playing for Danish Handball League side AG København. Hansen is widely regarded as one of the biggest talents ever seen in Danish handball.^{[citation needed]}

He joined FC Barcelona in June 2008. He previously played for Danish Handball League club GOG Svendborg, with whom he won the Danish championship in 2007. But on the 2nd of June 2010 he returned to Denmark, to play for AG København, after 2 good years in Spain.

Recent national team exploits include a miraculous free throw goal to score the winner in the final seconds to put Denmark up 25-24 at the Beijing Olympics's men's handball event against Russia.
