S&P 400

The S&P 400, more properly the S&P MidCap 400, is a stock market index developed by Standard & Poor's. Additions to the index are chosen from American mid-cap companies with market capitalizations between $1.5 and $5.5 billion; however, because of price changes, the members of the index can have market capitalizations outside this range.
