racing cyclist , specialising in track riding. He was the British National Stayers Champion for two consecutive years in 1991 and 1992, and again in 2003, 2005 and 2006. He finished second in the points race at the UCI World Masters Track Championships in 2001, in the 30-34 age category.He has also been involved in taking junior riders to race abroad.
