J.W. Buckley

J.W. Buckley (b. 1978) is a poet and short story writer originally from Tewksbury, Massachusetts.

J.W. attended Austin Preparatory School before going onto Beloit College and finally Northeastern University.

During his time in Boston J.W. became a member of the notorious FSU Crew, a now prominent and highly organized national street gang. [http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/15903240/punk_rock_fight_club_a_video_slide_show]

It was while active in the street world of FSU that J.W. met close friend, and fellow FSU member, screenwriter and director Elgin James.

Although J.W. is considered a semi-recluse by many colleagues and media personnel he has been featured in articles and/or interviews in publications such as Rolling Stone, [http://www.megawordsmagazine.com Megawords Magazine] and most recently on The National Geographic Channel. J.W. is currently working on finishing his first major collection of short stories tentatively titled "I Will See You Before You Leave" for Heartworm Press.
