BC Ferries operates two Intermediate Class ferries, with a third under construction:

* Route: Horseshoe Bay ↔ Bowen Island

"MV Queen of Cumberland" (1992)
* 127 vehicles
* 450 passengers
* 96 metre length
* 2,855.49 gross tons
* 14 kts
* 7200 HP
* Route: Swartz Bay ↔ Outer Gulf Islands

"MV Island Sky" (2008)
* 125 vehicles
* 600 passengers
* 102.4 metre length
* 3,500 gross tons
* 14.5 kts
* 4560 HP
* Route: Earl's Cove ↔ Saltery Bay

All three ferries were built at Vancouver Shipyards in North Vancouver, British Columbia.
