Gwahoddiad

Gwahoddiad

Gwahoddiad is a favourite Welsh hymn. It was translated into Welsh by Rev. John Roberts, also known as Ieuan Gwyllt (wild Ieuan), but was originally written in English by Lewis Hartsough, who also wrote the tune, in the USA in 1872, shortly before his death. It is a spiritual.

Gwahoddiad means "Invitation".
