Luis Alberto Fierro (born in

Luis Fierro is currently the Resource Mobilization Coordinator for the Office in Europe of the
Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Previously, from 1997 to February 2008, he held a number of posts at the headquarters of the IDB, including Senior Program Coordinator at theSustainable Development Department.He has contributed to sector strategies and policies of the IDB, including the strategies for the priority areas of the IDB: Sustainable Economic Growth, Poverty Reduction and Promotion of Social Equity, Social Development, Competitiveness, Environment, Modernization of the State, among other areas.
Previously, he represented the Government of Ecuador at the Board of Executive Directors of the

Luis Fierro is a founder and senior advisor of the non-profit, charitable organization "Ecuador Mi País", which raises funds for social and educational development in Ecuador.
