Association of American Baseball Research

The Association of American Baseball Research (AABR) was established in 18 November 1977 in Tokyo, Japan.

The scale of the association increases gradually and from the 1990s releases, translates and supervises many books about American baseball, i.e. companions of MLB, histories of individual teams and almanacs of MLB.

Now AABR has a monthly meeting (8 times per year) and social gatherings (3 times per year) and also publishes a Annual report, "Ballpark", which is collected by the National Baseball Hall of Fame and a bulletin, "Dugout" (6 issues per year).
