"Erechtites glomerata" is a species of flowering plant in the daisy family known by the common names Australian fireweed and cutleaf burnweed. It is native to Australia and New Zealand but it is present in many other places as an introduced species and often a noxious weed. It is a moderate pest in California. This is an erect taprooted plant, usually an annual, growing to heights between one half and two meters. The leaves grow up to 15 centimeters long and are deeply divided into many pointed lobes. The inflorescence is an array of cylindrical flower heads with flat ends. Each head has a mass of yellow disc florets at the tip and no ray florets. The green phyllaries are often dark-tipped. The fruit is a tiny achene with a pappus.
