Uptown Laredo is the main retail business and restaurant district in Laredo, Texas. Uptown is located along Interstate 35 in north-central Laredo. This section of the city is home to the second largest indoor mall in South Texas, the Mall del Norte.

Growth

Due to North Laredo's population growth two new intersections with Interstate 35 are being constructed at Farm to Market Road 1472 and Texas Loop 20. Piazza del Sol is currently under construction and it will be an indoor–outdoor 1,000,000 square foot mall located at I-35 and Loop 20 in Uptown Laredo.
