- Primary sclerosing colingitus
Primary sclerosing colingitus (PSC)is a liver disease. It results in scarring of the liver from bile backing up and causing scar tissue which renders the liver useless. It can be treated effectively by few drugs and usually culminates into cirrhosis of the liver.
The disease is an auto-immune affliction and the exact cause is not known.
PSC can be contracted and may be related to
Crohn's disease .
