Milan Jovanović (born, 1970 in Nis, Serbia) is ex WPA and GPC world powerlifting champion and a strongman competitor. He is sometimes known by the nickname Ribcracker.

porting career

He started powerlifting in the 98 and won nine Serbian national championships in row. He achieved his major success in powerlifting at the international level by wining 2000 WPA [ WPA - World Powerlifting Alliance [http://www.apa-wpa.com/] ] world title in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and 2003 WPC [GPC - Global Powerlifting Committee [http://www.globalpowerliftingcommittee.com/] ] world title in Wien, Austria when he finished first overall with 936lbs in squat.

In 2003 Jovanović entered his first Strongman competition, which was held in Nis, Serbia. He achieved his major success at the international level in 2005 when he finished five overall in United Strongman Series competition [Ontario Strongman Association [http://www.ontariostrongman.ca] ] . In 2006 he get injured.

Bodyguarding career

After injury he moved to US and started working as bodyguard in Miami, Florida, fending celebrities as Mickey Rourke and Kimbo Slice. He also appeared in a few videos with Kimbo Slice.
