Jamie Andrews is a fictional character from the hit teen drama series Instant Star, he is portrayed by Kristopher Turner.

Background/Personality

Jamie is the sweet boy-next door and lifelong friend of Jude's. He used to worked for G-major and is currently working at his own record label, Nana's Basement Records (NBR). He has a natural gift for working with musicians and recognizing musical talent. Jamie is a geniune music nerd who enjoys discovering underground bands and pursuing them. Jamie is a very intelligent teenager who finds happiness in the joy of others.

Relationships

Kat Benton

Aside from Jude, Kat is Jamie's best friend and the girl who he fell in love with before Jude. Their relationship ended when Jamie chose to help Jude before helping Kat. Kat told Jamie that she knew that she was entering the relationship as the second but thought that she could one day be first and then ended the relationship.

Patsy Sewer

Patsy is the first artist produced by Jamie. The two had a bizarre but passionate relationship for four months. Patsy was then killed in a drunk driving accident after arguing with Jamie and Jude.

Jude Harrison

Jude is Jamie's long-time best friend and neighbor. Jamie has been in love with Jude from the first episode and even went as far as to get a "J" tattoo on his shoulder at Jude's request. The two became a couple at the end of season one when Jamie declared his love to Jude and Jude realized his importance to her. Their relationship shortly ended at the beginning of season 2 when they had a disagreement involving Jude's business decisions. Their friendship was put on hold for the rest of season 2 until Jamie conforted Jude after having a dispute with her mom. In season 3 when Patsy died Jamie blamed Jude out of frusteration. Their relationship rekindled once Jamie's coworker and friend, Paegan Smith, suggested that Jamie write Jude a letter containing his feelings and give Jude Paegan's old guitar strap. Jamie wrote the letter and gave Jude the strap on her birthday. On the season 3 finale Jamie and Tommy both told Jude that they loved her leaving her to decide which one to choose. Jude ultimately chose Tommy. Jamie and Jude attempted a frienship in season 4 which was proven unsuccessful once Jamie pointed out that they could never be more than just friends.

Zeppelin

Zeppelin is Jamie's assistant/intern and Paegan's long lost daughter. She has a rivalry with Blu. Since Jamie did not listen to Zeppelin, he fired her unknowing that Blu was using him. After he found out, he and Zeppelin shared a kiss in front of a laundromat and fell over.
