- John Harrison "Danger" Bryant
John Bryant, born November 27th 1983, is a native of Asheville, North Carolina. He is a professional musician and plays the trumpet. John recently graduated with his Master of Music degree from the University of Louisville School of Music in trumpet performance. Also a graduate of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, John earned the Ione M. Allen Music Scholarship, the Dean’s Scholarship, and the M. Beechler Scholarship Award. In 2002, John was a semi-finalist in the National Trumpet Competition and also made his Carnegie Hall Solo Debut. John has also soloed with other groups such as the Smokey Mountain Brass Band, Asheville Civic Orchestra, Asheville Youth Orchestra, and the world famous St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. As an accomplished baroque trumpet artist, he was the national championship winner of the Reiche Historic Division of the National Trumpet Compeition in Fairfax, VA in 2008. John is an active performer, teacher and a member of the International Trumpet Guild. He is currently the featured soloist on the Tour of Champions.
