Les Rohr was a
baseball player for theNew York Mets back in the late 1960s. He was born Leslie Norvan Rohr on March 5, 1946 inLowestoft ,England . Shortly after he was born he moved toMontana with his family.During his baseball career, Rohr was 6'5" and 205 pounds. He was selected in the first round (second pick overall) of the free-agent draft. He was a left-handed
pitcher for the team. Rohr was never able to recover and it was later discovered, during a physical right before his trade to theMilwaukee Brewers was finalized, that he had a ruptured disc in his lower back.
