German submarine U-70

"Unterseeboot 70" or "U-70" has been the name of several German submarines or U-boats during the First World War and the Second World War.

* Unterseeboot 70 (1915) was launched in 1915 and operated in the First Battle of the Atlantic during the First World War before being surrendered in 1918
**During the First World War, Germany also operated two other U-boats with similar designations:
*** Unterseeboot B-70 was launched in 1917 and went missing after 5 May 1917
*** Unterseeboot C-70 was built in 1916 and sunk 28 August 1918

* Unterseeboot 70 (1940) was launched in 1940 and operated during the Second Battle of the Atlantic during the Second World War before being sunk 7 March 1941
