Raymond Herrera

Raymond Herrera (born December 18, 1972) is a drummer and one of the original members of the Industrial/Death metal band Fear Factory. His drumming is considered to be a key part of Fear Factory's signature sound and their appeal to fans. Raymond is known to use triggers on his drum set. He is also known for his high speed playing, particularly his double bass technique, which is notable for the use of tuplets, staccatos, and other such embellishments in place of blast beats commonly used in metal percussion. Raymond's quick bursts of double bass often share a dualism with palm muted guitar notes, resulting in the unique machine gun-like quality found in many Fear Factory songs.

Herrera has been an avid gamer all his life.
