Radovan Filipović

Radovan Filipović

Radovan "Sisko" Filipović born 28th February 1960 is a retired football player of Serbian ethnicity.

Filipović played for a number of clubs in Australia at the tail end of his career including Bonnyrigg White Eagles Football Club and White City Football Club as well as captaining the Australian National Futsal team the "Futsalroos" to the 1992 FIFA Futsal World Cup.

Overall he participated in three FIFA Futsal World Cup Final Tournaments [ [http://westfieldsports.nsw.edu.au/SPORTS/basketball18.html Westfields Sports High School. Australia's first specialty sports high school ] ] for Australia.

Known for his deft dribbling and incredible ball control, Filipović was a natural football player in both the outdoor and indoor versions of the game however his skills were more attuned to Futsal where he is considered a pioneer of the sport in Australia.
