In 2007, the boys track & field team placed third at the state meet in Boise, and in 2008 the team placed fourth in the same meet.
Homedale's most successful spring sport as of late has been the
softball team. In 2006, the team made a showing at the state tournament and took home the consolation championship. In 2008, the team made another appearance at the tournament, this time placing third. This sport hasn't won a state championship since it won three in a row in 1997, 1998, and 1999.
