Loe of Maui

Loe of Maui

Loe ruled as the 9th Mo'i of Maui. He was the sovereign king or chief of the island of Maui.

Loe was son of Kamaloohua, grandson of Kuhimana, great-grandson of Alau, great-great grandson of Mauiloa. He followed his father as sovereign of Maui. No legends remember Loe or his wife and no war occurred between Maui or any of the other island a contrast to the disturbance in his father, Kamaloohua's reign. He fathered Kaulahea I. His son Kaulahea would succeed him as Moi of Maui.
