Garnik Addarian

Garnik Hovsepi Addarian ("Attarian", 1925, Aleppo - 1986, Beirut) was an Armenian Diasporan poet, writer and public figure, a member of Lebanese Communist Party Central Committee since 1980.

He finished the French college of Aleppo, then moved to Beirut, where edited "Ejer kraganutian yev arvesdi" and "Azkayin mshaguyt" newspapers, contributed to Arabian periodicals. He is an author of numerous books included "Aprim-mernim" ("Live-die", 1968) poem's collection, "Sev yev garmir" ("Black and Red", 1979) storie's book.

No133 school in Yerevan is named after him.
