Jamaliya Muslim Maha Vidyalaya

First principal of this school was A.H.M.Naeem. With the blessing of the government and with the help of the parents it has grown very fast. Late pradesha saba member M.H.M.Nazeer worked very hard to develop this school. In 1989 retired principal N.A.Azeez took incharge of this school. His period was the golden era of this school. Within 3 years it got the best result in the region and showed brilliant progress in all the other fields. In short time it got many buildings, play ground, science laboratory and other facilities. Educational side it was the best school in kandy and sent may students to the university. It became a Maha Vidyalaya and started arts and commerce A/Level classes. Azeez Retired in 1996. It was a great loss to the school. Later S.H.M. Riyaldeen became the principal. Now with about 600 students this school is going forward in education and serving the students of the region.
