Porscia Sepideh Yeganeh (born on June 27, 1980, in Abadan, Iran), professionally known as Porscia Yeganeh, is a Canadian fashion designer.

Yaganeh's keen interest in fashion began at the early age of 7. Already a fashionably dressed child, Yeganeh started showing her affinity for fashion, and the creativity of a young designer, by making garments for her doll collection. Yeganeh continued to sharpen her creative vision throughout her school years by studying fashion and textiles. From Port Moody Secondary School, British Columbia to Kwantlen University College where in 2002, she graduated in Fashion Design and Technology.

In 2002, Yeganeh was discovered by Vancouver Fashion Week producer, Jamal Abdourahman, who asked to showcase her collection that same year. The success of her collection led to Yeganeh being awarded Top 10 Best Designer of the Year in Vancouver Fashion Week, 2003. After presenting four original pieces during the 2005 Vancouver Fashion Week at BC Place Stadium, Yeganeh immediately received accolades with requests from the Hudson Bay Company for her designs.

Yeganeh has been featured in various on-line fashion websites, including fashion magazine, [http://www.lerage.com leRage.com] , 2003, and [http://www.westca.com Westca] , 2008. Recently, Yeganeh participated in the "Young Women in Business" trade show held at the Sheraton Wall Center Hotel in Vancouver, Canada. On May 2, 2008, Yeganeh launched her chic glamour cocktail collection during the Chinese Varsity Club Fashion Show held at the Vancouver Law Courts.

Yeganeh heralded new designs to revolutionize the fashion industry by going "back to basics." The concept behind her designs consists of incorporating elegance, class and originality with simple comfort wear. With the start of her own label bearing her name, "Porscia", it is a new beginning for a fashion designer that envisions: "Inspiration of Simple Beauty".

Personal life

Yeganeh says she follows a rigorous exercise regime which sees her rise at 7am twice a week to complete a gruelling, 40-minute exercise session, before embarking on a 10-minute stretch. "It helps to concentrate the mind and I find that I have so much more energy and focus on what I need to work on, both personal and corporate." Her inspirations come from cosmopolitan people around, while always having an optimistic view on different mix wears. That is what sets Yeganeh's unique style apart, by combining good, bad, and multicultural mixes, into simple glamorous pieces.

Design inspiration

Yeganeh has been quoted as identifying her love of simplicity as the central inspiration of her creations – "Inspiration of simple Beauty" she has said. In an interview at Vancouver Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2008, Yeganeh has said that her designs "bring a woman's silhouette out with minimum designs" cite web|url= http://www.blinkx.com/video/porscia-yeganeh-vancouver-fashion-week-runway-2008/aBHjbaVKjyQueRrHtmA0Hw| title= Porscia Yeganeh Vancouver Fashion Week Runway 2008| accessdate= 2008-06-08| publisher= ] and knows "how to compliment the [a woman's] body".

Currently with her own label, Yeganeh's view is by turning the conservative vision around with sleek, glamorous ready-to-wear designs, while having her essential minimal-chic pieces that every women should have in her wardrobe. Yeganeh believes that "you don't need to show skin to look sexy".
