Big Horn Mountain, or "He Sha", is located in the Pine Ridge escarpment of the U.S. state of Nebraska. Located in Banner County, it is the third-highest peak in the state. New York: Scientific America.] The peak was named for the Bighorn Sheep that once roamed its flanks, [Fitzpatrick, L.L., Link, J.T., and Fairclough, G.T. (1960) "Nebraska Place-Names."
