Mansion House, located near Public Landing, Maryland, is an early-to-mid-nineteenth century plantation house. This "telescope house" was built in five main parts beginning about 1835. The distinct blocks were designed in a manner that separated the main house from the servants' quarters while keeping them close at hand [cite web|url=http://www.marylandhistoricaltrust.net/nr/NRDetail.aspx?HDID=1142&COUNTY=Worcester&FROM=NRCountyList.aspx?COUNTY=Worcester|title=Maryland Historical Trust|date=2008-06-07|work= National Register of Historic Places:Properties in Worcester County|publisher=Maryland Historical Trust] .
