Eden Killer Whale Museum

Eden Killer Whale Museum

The Eden Killer Whale Museum was originally built to house the skeleton of Old Tom and its story. Old Tom is the name given to an orca by whalers in the port of Eden.

The local Historical Society is based at the museum, where it displays and houses as many as ten thousand items.

The Museum's prime theme is the whaling industry. The secondary theme is general maritime and fishing while the third interest is the timber industry and local social history.
