The national rugby union teams of England and New Zealand (the All Blacks) have been playing each other in Test rugby since 1905, and by June 2008, they have met in 30 Test matches.
Their first meeting was on 2 December 1905. The All Blacks won 15–0 as part of their tour of Europe and Canada—four of their five tries were scored by Winger Duncan McGregor.[cite web| url=http://www.rugbymuseum.co.nz/asp/container_pages/normal_menu/rmArticle.asp?IDID=150 |title=THE 1905/06 'ORIGINALS' |publisher=rugbymuseum.co.nz |accessdate=2008-06-18] Their next meeting was on the All Blacks' "Invincibles" tour of 1924–25.
