Anthony Seibold

Anthony Seibold is a Rockhampton, Queensland born former professional Rugby League player who currently holds the position of Football Manager at the RFL expansion club, Celtic Crusaders based in South Wales. As a player he had stints at the Brisbane Broncos (1992-1995) and Canberra Raiders (1997-1998) throughout the 90's, where he played 14 First Grade games in the 1998 NRL season. In 1999 Anthony signed for the London Broncos in the Super League IV where he played for the capital team on 53 occasions over two seasons before rupturing his ACL in the last concluding game of the 2000 Super League season against Leeds Rhinos.

Anthony recovered from his career threatening knee injury and played for the Ipswich Jets in the 2002 Queensland Cup Grand Final before returning to the UK. In 2003 he signed for the famous Hull Kingston Rovers club, where he captained the team during their 2003 and 2004 seasons. He returned to the Brisbane Broncos organisation in 2005 where he captained the Clydesdales team in the 2005 Queensland Cup, before retiring at the age of 31.

Anthony has represented Germany, Queensland Residents and captained the Queensland Under 19 team of 1993 which featured many NRL stars of the future including dual Internationals Wendell Sailor and Brad Thorn, Australian representative Chris McKenna and State of Origin Front Rower Danny Nutley.
