Samet Gündüz (born 13 September 1987) is a Swiss footballer of Turkish decent who mainly plays as midfielder in the Swiss Challenge League for FC Wil, on loan from FC Basel.

Football career

On May 29 2008 Gündüz, and fellow teammate Pascal Schürpf, were promoted to FC Basel's Senior team after their performance over the past year in the Reserves and the winter friendlies for the Senior team that they participated in. He signed a 3 year contract with FC Basel which will expire in 2011. On 17 July 2008, Gündüz was loaned out to FC Wil to gain first-team experience.
